MUMBAI: Every household has a unique recipe that has passed down from generations and treasured by everyone. Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM, India’s no 1 radio station, invited listeners to share their most valuable ‘chicken khurana’ recipe with a secret ingredient. The winners were gratified with a visit from the glamorous stars Kunal Kapoor and Huma Qureshi of ‘Luv Shuv tey Chicken Khurana’.
‘Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana’ is a delightfully delicious film which has the protagonists engaging in mischievous capers to re-discover the age-old secret recipe of Chicken Khurana and make the Khurana Dhaba a success once again. Giving the listeners a chance to explore their culinary versatility , RJs Meera & Suren, hosts of ‘Sunset Samosa’, invited the Mirchiites to SMS their secret chicken khurana recipes. In a 4 day long contest, the RJs received a bunch of lip-smacking recipes and aired the most creative ones on air.
After much deliberation, the duo chose Sunil Mehra as the winner whose Chicken Khurana recipe won over the hearts and tummies of the RJs with its blend of spices and ingredients. In an exclusive opportunity, the star cast and team of the movie visited the lucky winner’s house. Sunil Mehra not only got meet Kunal Kapoor and Huma Qureshi but also cooked the dish and regaled the celebrities, thanks to Radio Mirchi!
