MUMBAI: Diwali, the festival of lights, is an event that everyone looks forward to celebrating in large numbers and with great enthusiasm. In an effort to bring together the listeners and celebrate Diwali with a community spirit, MY FM has planned a Diwali Special Lakshmi Poojan to be aired Live from all 17 MY FM studios. For this purpose, each of the MY FM stations have invited leading Pandits from the city to broadcast the Lakshmi Poojan during the Shubh Mahurat. In preparation for a peaceful and harmonious Diwali, MY FM is already promoting a responsible Diwali Campaign and through this live broadcast initiative, MY FM is looking forward to celebrating the festival of lights with all its listeners.
In the busy schedule of today’s lifestyle, the community spirit is often lost and MY FM has planned this activity to allow all listeners to simply tune into their favourite radio station and conduct the Poojan together with proper rituals. The stations will broadcast the requirements of Pooja Samagri and Shubh Mahurat in each city will be announced every hour in order that the listeners can ready themselves and participate in the Poojan.
In Jaipur, a well known Pandit Ji of the City Mandir – Radhey Shyam will lead the listeners in the Poojan from 6:30 to 7:30 PM on Diwali and the Raipur station will host Pandit P. S. Tripathi, a well known Jyotish Shastri of the city, to conduct the Pooja at the Shubh Mahurat, 6:39 PM to 8:35 PM.
