MUMBAI: Red FM 93.5, India largest FM network celebrated the auspicious occasion of Karva Chauth… in a truly bajate raho style with the listeners of Jaipur on October 7.Karwa Chauth is a festival that provides an opportunity for all married women to get close to their in-laws. All married women observe fast that ensures the well-being, prosperity and longevity of their husbands. Nowadays, Karwa Chauth is more of fun than a serious festival.
RJ Kabeer, RJ Anuradha and RJ Bharat gave a special treat to the listeners of Jaipur by making the day full of fun and masti. In the morning fabric, RJ asked the married women to share as who is Karva Saut… in their life, in a way asking that pati ko ghar pe time se aane se kaunsi cheezein rokti har roz and especially on Karva Chauth. Callers shared some interesting answers like it is mobile, bike, cigarette etc. One caller even answered that it is Red fm jisse mere husband hamesha chipke rehte hain….
In the request show, lovely messages were shared by the women for their darling husbands and even the husbands came forward and made an effort to dedicate a song for their wife with some cute messages.
In the afternoon, an interesting contest was played named as meri wali batao… where the wives registered themselves for the contest. Later they had to say a dialogue and then the RJ recorded few more women with the same dialogue. Then the husband was called and was made to identify his wife’s voice out of many voices. It was fun playing the contest as women enjoyed making the husband dance on their tunes. An excited caller Seema said, I am so happy that my husband identified the correct voice and even the husband said that jo awaaz kano mien roz padti hain use kaise bhool sakta hoon…. Lot of newly married women also shared their experience of first karva Chauth
In the evening, both the husbands and wives were given an opportunity to share the wildest or wackiest thing they have done to please their partner. Narendra one of the caller shared that I live in a PG but today I have borrowed the gas etc from my friend and I am cooking special Chinese meal for my fianc?©e usha….
