MUMBAI : It was a clear case of â€?Karthik calling Karthik’ as Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM’s lucky listener Karthik from Mumbai got a telephone call from reel life Karthik played by Farhan Akhtar in his upcoming movie with the same name.
Renowned actor cum director Farhan Akhtar was at the Radio Mirchi studio with co star Deepika Padukone.
India’s leading radio station ran a contest where all Karthiks in the city could participate and win a chance to receive a surprise call from none other than Farhan Akhtar or Karthik. Both stars of the film were live on Mumbai’s No.1 evening drive show Sunset Samosa with RJ Suren. In a mood to joke and pull each other’s leg as they spoke about their roles, their first shot together and Farhan’s rockstar image after â€?Rock on’.
