The much-awaited centrepiece of the Year of Germany and India 2011-2012: Infinite Opportunities, the Indo-German Urban Mela is around the corner. This unique travelling, celebratory exhibition comes to Delhi starting 27th October 2012 until 4th November 2012 from 10.00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m. The historic landmark, Humayun’s Tomb serves as a magnificent backdrop for the sixteen exquisite multi-purpose pavilions – that represent a unique blend of technology, science, culture and entertainment – that form the much anticipated Indo-German Urban Mela.
With a thematic focus on ‘StadtRäume – CitySpaces’, partner organisations and institutions of the project such as Bajaj Allianz, BASF, Bosch, Deutsche Bank and Siemens among others, will display interactive solutions related to the thematic focus of the exposition. Joining the Mela in Delhi will also be organizations such as Metro, Airbus, Volkswagen, Lapp India, SAP and Voith.
Visitors can also feast on sumptuous German delicacies and drinks with their friends and family. Apart from gastronomic treats, there are a host of other art, music and cultural activities for visitors to explore during the 9-day festival.
