MUMBAI: Bringing a ‘Whatte Fun’ flavour to the ‘City of Nawabs’, Hyderabad’s Radio City 91.1FM concluded the three day ‘Great Biryani Eating Competition’ at Hyderabad House, Road No-3, Banjara Hills today. Getting Hyderabad’s families together to savour the city’s renowned Hyderabadi Family Pack Biryani, the FM station short-listed 10 families to participate at the Finale. RJ Vamsee, host of ‘Whatte Fun Mornings’ cheered on the contenders who raced to consume more and more of this scrumptious preparation within the stipulated time. After a sumptuous feast, Mr. Balaji Rao along with his family, wife Vandana and brother Praveen were crowned the winning family of ‘The Great Biryani Eating Competition’ and walked away with goodies courtesy Radio City 91.1FM and Hyderabad House.
Partnering with the city’s renowned eatery – Hyderabad House, Radio City 91.1FM unveiled ‘The Great Biryani Eating Competition’ on July 22, 2008. Integrating the FM station’s ‘Whatte Fun’ idealogy with Hyderabad’s hallmark culinary delight, the competition revolved around families feasting on the Hyderabadi delicacy – the famous Biryani at the renowned Hyderabad House.
