MUMBAI: The hunt for Lucknow’s City Ki Aawaaz is over! After an enthralling Grand Finale today, Lucknow’s Radio City 91.1FM officially crowned Gunjan Roy as Lucknow Radio City 91.1FM’s City Ki Aawaaz at the Fun Republic, Gomtinagar today. Out to regale Lucknow’s Radio Cityzens with the best of music, the station awarded the title to the melodious and gifted Gunjan Roy from amongst the city’s top singing talents identified through the hunt for Lucknow’s Radio City â€?City Ki Aawaaz’. Adding to the excitement at the Grand Finale of Radio City’s â€?City Ki Aawaaz’, was the presence of Mr Kewal Kumar, Ms. Sheetal Prasad Mishra and Mr. Gagan Gurnani who stepped in to judge this â€?one-of-a-kind’ talent hunt. The mall also witnessed sizzling performances by judge Gagan Gurnani and Naveendra on the synthesizer, who had the crowds grooving to their mesmerizing tunes!
Concluding this mega hunt, Lucknow’s Radio City organized the Grand Finale of City Ki Aawaaz in true â€?Whatte Fun’ style. Hosted by RJ Fahad of City Spice and RJ Hemendra, the Finale saw the audience witness the singing sensations – Gunjan, Shikha, Seema and Sarvesh performing LIVE at Fun Republic. Wooing the audience with their melodious voices, each aspiring winner charmed the audience and judges alike by humming their way through the rounds organised by the station.
Outstanding singing talent combined with great performance skills and unmatched audience response made it very difficult for the Judges to arrive at one winner. After much deliberation, the Judges finally found Lucknow Radio City 91.1FM’s â€?City Ki Aawaaz’ as they crowned Gunjan Roy as Radio City’s â€?City Ki Aawaaz’ who walked away with a cash prize of Rs 25,000 courtesy Radio City 91.1 FM.
