MUMBAI: Kolkata’s very own hot and happening radio station, Fever 104 FM infuses excitement to Durga Puja celebrations with an all new musical initiative. Fever 104 had launched a Band Hunt in Kolkata and the winning bands, Naireet, Canteen & Kaibolyo, have earned the privileged and much coveted dream break to perform at eminent Durga Puja pandals in Kolkata.
Adding to the Durga Puja festivity, Fever 104 FM has also sponsored prominent pandals like Telengabagan, Ballygunge, Ahiritola, Sealdah Railway Athletic Club and FD Block Association Festival.
As part of the overall celebratory package for its listeners, Fever 104 FM also introduced an exciting shopping contest â€?Shop with Manali’. The on air contest was played from 8th September to 12th September. The participants were asked shopping related questions and 5 lucky winners got a chance to do shopping worth of Rs.5000/- from their favorite outlets, such as… Shoppers’ Stop, City Centre, Max Mart and Rene malls respectively. This was Fever 104’s tribute to the spirit of shopping which overrides Kolkata in this period.

Fever 104 FM is also organizing a Puja Pandal Hopping contest that will be played for 3 days, from September 30 to October 2. In every show, Fever 104 FM RJ will ask one puja related question to the listeners. One lucky winner will get to go for pandal hopping with his/her 2 or 3 friends accompanied by Fever RJs. The objective of this contest is to include all of Kolkata’s radio listeners in the fold of the Durga Puja revelry.

Naireet, Canteen & Kaibolyo were the most voted bands. Sharing their excitement, Prometheus, from the winning band, Naireet says, It’s unforgettable to play at the auspicious occasion of Durga Puja.
