MUMBAI: The Lion of Bhangra Daler Mehndi features on the cover page of India’s pan genre music magazine â€?The Score’. The classy cover photo stating â€?Balle Balle-ing with the King of Bhangra Pop’ shows the pop-bhangra sensation in complete gusto and attitude.

The article titled â€?The Unchallenged King of Bhangra’ gives a look into Mehndi’s life, his humble beginnings and his musical journey, where he speaks his heart about his 16 years of career into pop music, gurbani folk and sufi numbers.

Talking about his foundation as a trained classical singer, Mehndi modestly gave out the key ingredients that went into making of the pop sensation as the world knows him today. He candidly expressed that whether pop, ethnic or classical, he wants to present music in a way to the world that people love.
