MUMBAI: As the Tunak express Daler Mehndi reached the largest YouTube Generation Festival – YouFest, the beats of his Bhangra-pop swept across the city of Madrid and plastered the craze of Indian music over Spain. His first visit to Madrid in Spain lived up to the hype as the stylish turbaned singer delivered a full blast show with the signature kinesthetic Mehndi Mania.
The international festival brought together the most viewed and illustrious artists on YouTube from more than 15 countries in a multigenerational and multicultural event. The act by India’s hottest pop star was the highlight of the evening. Mehndi’s irresistible Bhangra rave filled the vast expanse of the Matadero and had audiences (who could not even understand the language he was singing in) grooving to his ‘Balle Balle’ and ‘Rab Rab’!
