A Crescent Christmas features spectacular vocals, incredible musical arrangements, and the best in holiday music. This award-winning show band is comprised of the best high school-age musicians in Utah, has been named Best big band on the planet by DownBeat magazine, has a virtual lock on Utah’s coveted, annual Best of state award as the state’s Best professional band, performed with some of the greatest Grammy-winning jazz legends in the world, traveled the globe playing to standing ovations, and is now ready to wow audiences with their new holiday musical show.
The Crescent super band was founded by Caleb Chapman in 2001 and is regarded as one of the world’s best big bands. They play music from the great American songbook which include show tunes, pop hits, Broadway classics and jazz standards, and play them with energy and style that always excites crowds.
