MUMBAI: Glamour & ramp walks are no longer a monopoly of models…Radio Mirchi’s Kombu Mela has proved that cows too can set the ramp on fire with the right dose of makeover.
Radio Mirchi’s â€?Kombu Mela’ – the unique â€?Cow Fashion Makeover’ event organized by Radio Mirchi witnessed an action packed final round of competition that took place at Rang Mandir of ISCKON temple today. More than 20 team of students belonging to various institutions of Bangalore took up the challenge to provide a makeover to the cow models raised by ISCKON. Three cows with the best look & attire were awarded the â€?Miss Punyakoti’, â€?Ms Nandini’ & â€?Ms.Surabhi’ titles.
The team which was successful in bringing out a perfect themed look on the cow was chosen the winner of the contest. The themes vary from farm house, to floral, to bridal and some more. Student teams from MES College, BMS College of Engineering, Mahavir Jain College, M S Ramaiah College of Engineering participated in the competition. They were short-listed based on the dressing theme they chose. Mirchi RJ’s too were part of the participating teams as they cheered their respective alumni colleges.
