MUMBAI: The festivals of â€?Lohri’ marks the advent of a new season and BIG 92.7 FM brings the nation together over the auspicious occasion with slate of exciting on air and on ground shows/events. Integrating the festive spirit of Lohri across shows, the radio station is celebrating the fervour and gaiety of the festival with a mix of special contests, coupled with loads of goodies and some fantastic music. Lohri is celebrated across Northern states specially so in Punjab, and signifies a new season beginning People celebrate this day seeking abundance and prosperity.
At Delhi, the station has launched a campaign named – â€?Luckk Matkao, Luck Aazmao’. As part of this campaign, RJs will explore various Lohri specials, including food, dresses, music etc RJ Ramit will go to selected few Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) and celebrate the festival with BIG FM listeners.
BIG 92.7 FM Chandigarh will celebrate Lohri with a special â€?Ek Saal Free Maal’ initiative, giving its listeners a golden opportunity to win one product for the entire year. All that the listeners will have to do is to participate in a Contest to win this BIG TICKET. Besides this, the Station will follow a Punjabi Seasonality. BIG RJs will visit the families celebrating their first Lohri.
