MUMBAI: Director of film “BANDOOK” Aditya Om and music director Nikhil Kamath were looking for a voice that sounded like Lataji in the late 60’s and after considering many singers they zeroed in on singer Bandana Sharma to sing “Tu Jaldi Bata De” penned by Kapil Sibal – Minister of Communications and Information Technology.
They collectively they felt that her voice was best suited for the song and its situation in the film.
Says singer Bandana Sharma, “I was very thrilled at being offered the song written by Kapil Sibalji. He is great poet and after listening to the lyrics I was extremely happy to be a part of this song as it just touches a chord in your heart. I have given my best to this song and I hope that this comes across to the audience.” With its brilliant lyrics and composition recording the song is already very popular and is being received well by the audience. The music is released on Worldwide Records.
