MUMBAI: The wedding season is here and Radio Mirchi kick-started the celebrations with the feisty trio of Anushka Sharma, Ranveer Singh and Maneesh Sharma, the cast and director of Band Baaja Baraat, on â€?Hi Mumbai’ with Mumbai’s favourite RJ Jeeturaaj.
The morning started on a fun note when the Band Baaja Baraat team took RJ Jeeturaaj by surprise and capped him with the popular red bandwala topi. Much merriment ensued when Mirchi listeners got to ask Anushka and Ranveer quirky questions. RJ Jeeturaaj praised the crackling chemistry between Ranveer and Anushka and said that it has been brought out well by the crisp, witty and sharp dialogues penned by Faisal Habib.
Commenting on the vibrant and effusive tone of the film, Anushka said, The film is fun and peppy. It was great fun shooting in Delhi and I hope the audience enjoys this relatively novel concept of wedding planning…. While chatting with RJ Jeeturaaj, newcomer Ranveer said, It was a pleasure working with Anushka and Maneesh Sharma is a great director, he gets ten on ten for directing the film….
