MUMBAI: Xiaomi, the Chinese electronics company has just launched its first tablet called the MiPad in India.
The MiPad features a 7.9-inch 2048 x 1536p high definition touchscreen with Gorilla Glass 3 protection and a quad core 2.2GHz Nvidia Tegra processor to power it. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory which can be expanded to up to 128GB of extra storage via microSD.
The device runs on Android laced with MIUI software that runs on a 6700mAh battery. It also features a 5MP front-facing camera and an 8MP rear camera. The Xiaomi MiPad weighs 360 grams and is 202 x 135.4 x 8.5 millimeters.
