MUMBAI: Taking a plunge into the handset market, Zen Mobile has launched QWERTY Z77, a dual SIM (GSM+GSM) phone in India.
The handset has an uncanny resemblance to the Blackberry Bold handset. It has dimensions of 111.5 X 60 X 13.3mm, has a 2.2″ display and 260K colors and is equipped with a preloaded Opera mini browser, 1.3 Megapixel camera, MP3 playback and FM radio.
The camera features digital zoom, night mode, effects mode, white balance and video playback.
The mobile also features Bluetooth but no infrared and Wi-Fi. The phone has no built-in memory but has expansion upto 4 GB via Micro SD.
Commenting on the newly launched model, Zen Mobile CEO Vaibhav Shastri said, “India is one of the key markets for any mobile manufacturers. With our new model Z77, we intend to provide the smartest features which will cater to all the requirements of the customer. With such a product in hand, we plan to catapult the concept of mobile manufacturing onto a whole new level. Also, with the festive season around the corner, we expect this model to be a hit amongst the youngsters.”
The handset is priced at Rs. 3,299.
