MUMBAI: After announcing the launch of four smartphones in their Xperia series, Sony has finally unveiled its first smartphone ‘Xperia Ion’ in the Indian market.
The device comes pre-loaded with Andoid 4.0 ICS and is looking forward to upgrade it to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean sometime later. The device features 4.55 inch screen, 1.3MP front facing camera, 12.1 MP rear-camera with autofocus and LED flash. The smartphone is powered with 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 dual-core processor, 1GB RAM and 16GB internal memory.
The handset claims to provide 10-hours of talk time and standby time upto 400 hours with 12 hours of music playback. ‘Xperia Ion’ is priced at Rs 36,999.
