MUMBAI: Sony Music is all set to expand its Walkman series with launch of music player F800 and E470.
Walkman F800 runs on android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS and features 3.5 inch touch-screen, bluetooth, clearer audio quality and technology to cut noise distortion. The player enables users to connect bluetooth speakers wirelessly, web browsing, gaming and e-mail. Walkman F800 comes in two capacities 16GB and 32GB and is priced at $269.99 and $299.99 respectively.
Walkman E470 is preloaded with games like Tetris and Sudoku and also features karaoke mode. Sporting 8GB and 16GB models, the player comes with 2-inch display and costs $79.99 and $109.99 respectively. Both players offer access to Sony’s Music Unlimited store and support iTunes playlists with the use of special software. The players will be available by August in Sony stores and online.
