MUMBAI: Sony Ericsson in collaboration with Reliance Communications has unleashed its first android handset â€?W8 Walkman’ in the Indian markets.
W8 Walkman comes with applications like FM moment and share moment, in-built speakers, FM string and characteristic four corner user interface for personalization. The device offers 128MB integral phone memory and 16GB expandable memory card with 50 preloaded songs and more than 12 videos.
Apart from features like 3.2MP camera, music player, radio FM, battery life of 23 hours 40 minutes and social networking applications, W8 Walkman is also packed with 3D games, geo tagging, album art, etc. The handset is priced at Rs 9,995 and comes in colors like azure, orange and red along with snap-on covers.
Elaborating about the device, Sony Ericsson India managing director P Balaji said, Consumers are looking for an integrated entertainment experience from any gadget they purchase. Sony Ericsson’s W8 Walkman phone has been made for those who want to enjoy and share their favorite music, play games or just simply explore apps.
