Samsung S Pebble music player launched

MUMBAI: Six months after the announcement of its launch along with Galaxy S3, Samsung has finally released the miniscule music player ‘S Pebble YP-W1’ in the South Korean market.

The MP3 player relies on the Galaxy S III to function as the company wants users to view the player as more of an accessory than a standalone device. The device boasts 4GB internal memory supporting MP3, WMA, OGG, and FLAC files and comes with 17 hours playback.

The music player doesn’t sports WiFi or bluetooth, the transfer of music from Galaxy S3 handset can be done through the micro-USB cable that plugs into the device’s headphone jack. Samsung has also provided an extra cable to attach the player with PC.

Available in pebble blue or marble white, the 13.2mm tiny music player is priced at 79,000 won ($70).   The information about its release date in other countries is yet to be announced.
