MUMBAI: Samsung has announced the extension of galaxy series with the launch of its much awaited android phone ‘Galaxy S3’.
The handset enhanced with 4.0.4 android OS, features super-amoled 4.8inch display with 720 x 1280 px (306ppi) resolution, 1GB RAM and Exynos 4 Quad (1.4GHz) processor.
The smartphone is embedded with 8MP rear and 1.9MP front camera along with 2,100mAh battery. Samsung S3 is available in three different models featuring 16, 32 and 64GB storage capabilities with expandable microSD card. The device comes with latest digital inclusion like cloud storage with 50GB Dropbox for two years and voice and eye recognition software.
S3 will be available in two colours- pebble blue and marble white. The handset will be available by the end of month in Europe, followed by a later release in Asia, Middle East and Africa. The 4G version will go on sale in US and South Korea soon.
