MUMBAI: Nokia has launched 18 carat gold plated handset â€?C3-01 Gold Edition’.
Enhanced with 2.4 inch QVGA resistive touch screen, the handset features wi-fi, bluetooth, MicroSD card expandable upto 32GB, quad-band radio, 5MP camera with LED flash and up to HSDPA data speeds.
The device consisting of 1 GHz CPU supports Nokia communities including social networking sites like facebook and twitter and Nokia messaging for email, IM functionality and several apps from Ovi store. The handsets weighing 100 gram offers talk-time of 5.5 hours and has battery life that last up to 18 days on standby.
Priced at €220, the handset is launched in Eastern Europe and Middle East and will be soon available in other markets.
