Nokia launches C5 in India

MUMBAI: Handset manufacturer Nokia has announced another addition to its c Series of handsets with the launch of C5 in India. The new entrant follows the arrival of its lower-end sibling, the C3.

The C5 smartphone is a mid-range handset loaded with features such as 2.2-inch, QVGA LCD TFT display. It runs with Symbian 9.3 OS. The set is incorporated with other features like  3.15 mega pixel camera with an LED Flash and video recording support, a front facing video camera for video calling, EGPRS, an FM Radio receiver, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP and a 3.5mm jack.

The set is powered by ARM 11 processor that runs at 600Mhz. It has 128MB of RAM and comes with a 2GB microSD card extendable up to 16GB. This Symbian phone has 50MB of internal memory too that can suffice for the data requirements 

The handset is priced at Rs 7,999.
