MUMBAI: Motorola Mobility India Private Limited, a subsidiary of Motorola Mobility, Inc. has launched android 2.3 powered smartphones FIRE XT and FIRE in the Indian market.
Motorola FIRE XT and Fire is touted with 250,000 android apps, supports 3G hotspot for connection of five devices, enables 3G3 / WIFI4, access to google services, RDS FM Radio, 2GB microSD card expandable up to 32GB, GPS, e-compass, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, accelerometer, supports POP3/IMAP4, Enterprise-Class E-mail and MMS. The new MOTO Switch user interface allows user to switch between friends and work-centric modes.
Motorola FIRE is enhanced with additional features like 2.8-inch touch-screen display with full QWERTY keypad, social messaging and web browsing, 3MP camera, friends-centric widgets. FIRE is priced at Rs 13,890.
Motorola FIRE XT the 3.5 inch touch screen handset delivers social networking including video chat, email and Swype texting. It also offers 5MP dual cameras enhanced with an auto-focus and built-in flash. FIRE XT is available at Rs 9,990.
