Motorola may soon introduce an Integrated Digital Enhanced Network or iDEN device that features a full QWERTY keyboard. The i465, dubbed the Clutch, may be a low end device but meets military-specs for extreme conditions including shock, vibration, dust, and solar radiation.
It’s Motorola’s first device that combines the power of push-to-talk and the convenience of QWERTY keyboard with shortcut keys and software upgrades such as IM-style texting. This type of texting allows for an all-in-one view of incoming and outgoing messages. Other features include –

The Motorola Clutch i465 is expected to be available beginning in Q2 2009. The price of the gadget and the countries it will first ship in are not known.
