MUMBAI: Indian handset maker Maxx Mobiles has launched a full touch-screen projector phone Focus MTP9.
The dual-SIM handset features a 2.8 inch touch-screen, 5 megapixel camera, built-in projector lens with an adjustable focus Powered by a 208 MHz processor, the phone is embedded with King Movie Player, which claims to compress the video to a tenth of its actual size without compromising on quality. A loudspeaker is present at the back to play the audio aloud. It also supports the MP4 and 3GPP formats.
The handset is java-enabled and comes with a variety of built-in apps including Opera Mini, Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo! Launcher, Nimbuzz and more. Multimedia functionality includes FM radio with scheduling and support for various audio formats. A 1200 mAh battery claims to provide it with a longer battery backup.

The Focus MTP9 is available in black with silver colours and is priced at Rs 7000.
