MUMBAI: Expanding its Desire series further, Taiwanese manufacturer HTC has announced its latest smartphone Desire U in Taiwan.
The device is equipped with 4-inch capacitive touch-screen display, android 4.0 with HTC Sense UI, 1 GHz processor, 5MP auto focus rear camera with LED Flash, Beats Audio, 512 MB RAM, 4GB of internal storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD, 3G, Wi-Fi, bluetooth 4.0, GPS and 1,650mAh battery.
Chughwa Telecom has revealed that it is targeting mainly students and first-time smartphone buyers with Desire U.
The handset is priced at 7990 New Taiwan Dollar (about $274).
