MUMBAI: Haier Mobile has announced the launch of new three GSM mobile phones termed Wow, Twin and Double.
Wow features a colour FM phone with a FM on loudspeaker and a voice recorder. The loudspeaker claims to have stereo FM with good clarity. The phone has a memory of 500 contacts with three numbers for each contact, effectively making a storage capacity of 500 x 3. The cost of the phone has not yet been disclosed.
Twin is a slider phone with active double GSM SIM. The phone sports an MP3 and MP4 music player. The phone has a 1.3 mega pixel camera with 500 x 6 contacts in the phone book. The phone comes in a novel faux leather box packing. The box opens to reveal the mirror within. The box can be re-used as a Lady’s vanity case.
Double, the dual GSM SIM phone features Bluetooth, FM on speaker, MP3 Player, camera, video recording, T Flash card up to 1 GB, MMS, GPRS, WAP and MMS. The phone features a phone book memory of 1000 contacts.
Haier Mobiles Director- Marcom Avijit Dutt says, “Haier Mobile intends to introduce at least three new ID’s every quarter as the dedicated design centre based in India allows us to feel the pulse of the market and rapidly convert into great phones which follow Haier Mobile maxim of providing state- of – the – art phones which are value for money for the Consumer.”
