MUMBAI: Research in Motion (RIM) has launched its Blackberry Os 7 based smartphone â€?Torch 9860′ in the Indian market.
The device is powered with 1.2GHz processor, 3.7inch 24-bit capacitive touch screen display, 3G connectivity, bluetooth (802.11 b/g/n), GPRS, EDGE, 3G and WLAN. The handset is embedded with 768 MB RAM, 4GB internal memory expandable up to 32 GB with a microSD memory card, 1230 mAh Li-ion battery that offers talk time of 6.2 hours and standby time of 11.8 days, 5MP camera with auto focus, flash and 720p HD video recording.
Torch 9860 also allows non-stop music playback for 50.2 hours and video playback for 6.1 hours. The device is priced at Rs 28,490.
