The nephew of Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and the son of Pakistani singer Ustad Farrukh Fateh Ali Khan, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is one of the most eminent of Sufi, Qawwali singers from Pakistan. He is admired to a great extent for the Sufi tone of voice in conventional Bollywood movies. Atif Aslam:
Atif Aslam is one of the renowned singers of Pakistan, who is very much popular in Indian film industry. Atif, a former member of Pakistani Band ‘Jal’, released his first solo album ‘Jal Pari’ in 2004 after he moved out from the Pakistani band ‘Jal’. Atif Aslam took Bollywood by storm and two of his songs from the album ‘Jal Pari’ were used by film directors from Bollywood. He got hold of great visibility, commercial success, exposure and opportunities in Indian film industry after years of singing solos in Pakistan. He debuted as an actor in a Pakistani movie called ‘Bol’, in 2011 which was released in both Pakistan and in India. Some of his famous songs are, ‘Woh Lamhe’ from ‘Zeher’, ‘Tere Bin’ from ‘Bas Ek Pal’, ‘Tu Jaane Na’ from the movie ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’.

Adnan Sami:
Adnan Sami is actually a Canadian citizen of Pakistani, Indian, Afghan ancestry. He is a singer, musician, pianist, actor and composer who has the skill to play over 35 musical instruments. In 2001, this foreign-returned singer came onto the Bollywood scene with a bang with ‘Kabhi To Nazar Milao’, the first album with Smt. Asha Bhonsle. This album topped the Indipop charts during that time. Adnan continues to sing and compose in several Bollywood films and is also seen on reality shows (Zee’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’il Champs). Incidentally, the Pakistani-born singer is now an Indian citizen (by naturalization). Shafqat Amanat Ali, son of Ustad Amanat Ali Khan is primarily known for being the former lead vocalist in the Pakistani band, ‘Fuzon’. Born to a very musical family, Shafqat learned classical in his early days. His band,’ Fuson’, represents a distinctive style of music in which they combine classical music and rich, rhythmical lyrics with electric guitar, drum, etc., and it makes ‘Fuzon’ a distinguishing alternative rock band. He was introduced to Bollywood by music director Shankar Mahadevan and now he is one of the most popular voices in Bollywood, recognized for the rustic imprecision. His famous songs are ‘Mora Saiyan’, ‘Aankhon Ke Sagar’, ‘Mitwa’, ‘Ye Hosla’, ‘Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna’, ‘Tere Naina’ from ‘My Name Is Khan’ etc.

The album sold over five million copies worldwide and he won Lux Style Award for Best Music Album. Immensely admired abroad, Zafar had acted in a few Bollywood movies as well.
