MUMBAI: After the successful launch of Yo Yo Honey Singh’s ‘Desi Kalakaar’, music label T-series is all set to launch five singles of five Punjabi artistes during the festive season.
Bollywood actor and singer Ayushmann Khurrana who last worked with T-Series in ‘Nautanki Saala’ that had a hit track ‘Sadi Galli’ is yet again joining hands with the company for his new single ‘Mitti Di Khusboo’. The video featuring Ayushmann and Huma Qureshi will be released on 8th Oct which is composed by his friend Rochak Kohli and written by Rochak Kohli, Gurpreet Saini, Gautam Govind Sharma. Khurana will be seen romancing Huma for the first time. His last single was under Yash Raj Music titled ‘O heeriye’.
T-Series will also release the next single of Hardy Sandhu of ‘Soch’ fame titled ‘Joker’. Soch launched last year received an overwhelming response on T-Series official Apna Punjab YouTube channel and is still featuring on Radio Charts in the north. ‘Joker’ is slated to be the biggest song ever in the Punjabi category with lavish video shot by Virsa Arts. The track has a very sad romantic feel to it and is expected to be unveiled by mid October.

T-Series is also coming up with party number by Ammy Virk titled ‘Surma to Sandle’. The music label will also be launch pad to an upcoming artiste from Punjab Jassimran Singh Keer with his single ‘Bullet’.
Other big singles lined up are from Aarif Lohar of ‘Jugni’ fame and Nooran Sisters (Jyoti & Sultana) of ‘Pataka Gud’ fame. Talking about the T- Series signing five new artistes, President of T-Series Neeraj Kalyan, said, “We were always present in the Punjabi music industry. Since we plan to target global audiences thus we have signed these artistes.”
Bhushan Kumar said, “We have always supported non film independent music and have been regularly releasing independent singles. Punjabi genre has good growth potential and there is tremendous talent available in this genre and we are trying to offer the artists an opportunity to showcase their talent and offer a soulful music to the lovers of Punjabi music.”
