MUMBAI: There have been no major upsets in the RAM figures for week 29, just out. While other stations have claimed leads in certain demographics and certain time slots during the past week, the overall leadership position has been maintained by Radio Mirchi in the metros.
Bangalore: Mirchi gained an impressive 2.3 percentage points to end with a market share of 20.5 per cent of the Bengaluru market. This considerably widened the gap between the leader and the station in second position, Big FM, which also lost 1.3 points to end with a share of 15.9 per cent. Fever at number three was a close third with a share of 14.8 per cent, having gained 0.3 points. Radio City too gained 1.3 points, to end with a share of 13.5 per cent.
Delhi: In the capital, Mirchi kept its distance from the rest with a share of 24.1 per cent of the market, having gained 1.2 percentage points. Fever came in second, with a share of 17.8 per cent, having lost 0.7 percentage points during the week. AIR FM Gold scored 0.2 percentage points during the week, to come in third with a share of 15.1 per cent. The rest of the players lagged behind – Radio City with a share of 10.6 per cent, Red FM with a share of 8.1 per cent, and Big FM with a share of 7.9 per cent.

Kolkata: Mirchi strengthened its position in Kolkata gaining 1.7 percentage points, and securing a share of 20.3 per cent of the market. Big FM stuck to the second position with a share of 15.3 per cent, despite losing 0.8 percentage points. Friends upped 0.2 points to come in third with a share of 13.7 per cent. Aamar FM came in fourth with a share of 10.8 per cent, having lost 0.1 percentage points.
MumbaI: All the top four stations in Mumbai slipped this week, with leader Mirchi too losing 0.7 percentage points, to end at a share of 16.8 per cent. Close competitor Red FM too lost 0.2 percentage points to end with a share of 14.5 per cent. AIR’s FM Gold stayed third with a share of 13.5 per cent, having lost 0.1 percentage points. Big FM followed with a share of 13.1 per cent.
