MUMBAI: Australian music streaming service Guvera, has appointed Avinash Chandrasekaran as the commercial head in India. He will report to Guvera Asia business development head Ananya Amin.
Chandrasekaran, who joined the company in July this year, is be responsible for driving the brand and business across all platforms in India, Middle East and North Africa region. He will push the services across platforms like web, mobile and on-ground.
The company has been actively involved in pushing its ‘branded channel’ feature in India and various on-ground activities.

Prior to this, Chandrasekaran had a three-year stint with Times Internet as country head sales – Gaana. He has also worked with Zapak Digital Entertainment Limited, where he handled the sales division as regional head. From November 2008 to August 2010, Chandrasekaran headed the regional division of Reliance BIG Entertainment’s Big Adda. Prior to that, he had his first stint with Times Internet as manager – advertising sales.
