MUMBAI : The floor is set, the squads are filled and the Squad Bosses are eager to light the fiery contestants! After the great showcase last week and the selection of the top 16, it is now time for the real competition to begin at MTV Hustle 03 REPRESENT. To kickstart the journey, two of the biggest flow writers of Indian hip-hop, Sikander Kahlon and Raga will grace the stage with their presence! On special request, Sikander Kahlon and Ikka will set the stage on fire with a banger performance of the song ‘Cash Money’ to kickstart the episode.
The ace rappers and hosts – SuperManikk and Wicked Sunny will delve into the format. After every performance Squad Bosses other than the one whose squad the contestant belongs to will give scores in the form of the speakers on a scale of three. And ultimately, if the Rap Supremo – Badshah likes the performance they will get a Radio Hit.
First up is 100RBH from Amravati, Maharashtra who gives a heartfelt performance about patriotism and supporting ‘Made in India’. After this banger performance Ikka, Dino James and Dee MC will go and give him a hug. Badshah says “Tum woh artist hoge is season ke jispe poore MTV Hustle 03 REPRESENT ko proud hoga. Tumhari awaaz bohot logon ki awaaz hain, isliye main tumhein bohot respect karta hoon.” Ikka remembers Badshah’s dialogue after 100RBH’s first performance and says “Sacchi Sidhu Moose Wala ka reflection hain tujh mein.” The next performance will be by the Femcee Mrunal Shankar, who will sing ‘Amiri’, a song from the perspective of a rich woman she aspires to be. Her performance gets a standing ovation from everyone including Badshah, Sikander Kahlon and Raga. Ikka says “MTV Hustle 03 REPRESENT ka pehla banger hua hain!” Adding to that Sikander says “This is a certified banger.” Dee MC says “Songwriting main monotony ko kaise todana hain, uska bohot achha example aapne diya hain. I feel super proud.”

The next performance is by the second fastest rapper in India, Gaush, who performs a ‘Palindrome rap’ which is rapping backwards. Hearing this, Badshah says “Main 5 saal se soch raha hoon Palindrome rap ka ek verse likhunga, iska 5 saal ka career bhi nahi hain.” He impresses everyone with his performance, Ikka says “Bhai aisa lag raha hain hum seekhne aaye hain isse, pehli baar yeh cheez dekh raha hoon. Bohot bada kalakar hai tu. Yeh kala humko kyun nahi aati yaar.” Sikander says “Main jab tumhare jaisa rapper dekhta hoon na, mera chappan inch ka seena ho jaata hain. I am so proud.”
The stage will now be graced by the viral sensation Kayden whose performance is inspired by his favourite actor Govinda, after the performance audience demands “Once more!” Everyone including Squad Bosses, Badshah, Sikander and Raga comes on the stage to appreciate his performance and groove on his song, Badshah even picks him up in excitement and in a sarcastic tine says, “Tera gaana sunke mein itna tension main aa jaata hoon ki itna zyaada maza kaise aa Raha Hain!” Raga adds to it saying “Bro mein mahinon baad naachu hain aise.”
The next performance is by RAP ID, the conscious rapper who sings about love for cricket in India and the ongoing World Cup. After the performance, Dee MC says “So amazing to see people like you here, who can make conscious hip-hop reach the hearts of people.” Badshah says “Jaise har kisi ki ek pehchaan hoti hain, jaise Dino stands for something, EPR stands for something, I think tumhari pehchaan ek ban chuki hain. Matlab main koi gaana sununga toh main bol doonga yeh Rap ID genre ka gaan hain. Which is the greatest thing!”
Next comes Prince – The Artist Singh whose performance will be about his talent and how the audience perceives him. The Squad Bosses were not impressed by him and believed he had the potential to do more. Next up will be Safidon Ka Chhora-Badal from Haryana, who will dedicate his performance to his hometown in Haryana. After his performance, Dino James will say “Bohot hi power-packed performance, I think you are a complete entertainer!”
The last performance will be of Vijay Dada, the rapper from the streets of Mumbai, who will be seen dedicating his performance to the drink of the nation – ‘Chai’. Appreciating his performance, Dee MC says, “I really think you are a people’s artist.” Badshah says “Jab tujhe pehli baar stage pe dekha tha mujhe tujhse pyaar ho gaya tha. But I want to see more lyricism from you.”
This episode will be packed with powerful performances that the audience will enjoy and groove to!
