MUMBAI: Amidst the hectic celebration, Radio Mirchi came out with an innovative concept this Ganesh Chaturthi , by asking the people of Bangalore to desist from immersing the lord Ganesha in the lakes of Bangalore, instead to immerse it in Buckets provided by Radio Mirchi. Requesting the population of Bangalore to keep the lakes clean & pristine, on Radio Mirchi were celebrities like Puneeth Rajkumar, Sharmila Mandre, Radhika Pundit etc… Also endorsing the same was Sri Somyajji who assured the public that immersing the Ganesha in a bucket was within tradition.
Radio Mirchi RJs also visited the homes of the few lucky listeners on the day of the festival to immerse Ganesha along with the families.
Singing on the same lines was the Manasare movie crew who were seen at the Mirchi studios adding a tinge of spice into the Bucket Ganesha celebrations. The Manasare team which comprised the producer – Rockline Venkatesh, Director – Yograj Bhatt & Music Composer Mano Murthy visited the Radio Mirchi studio to provide a starry send off to the Ganesha idol.
The team was all praises for the Bucket Ganesha concept undertaken by Radio Mirchi that urged people to immerse the Ganesh idol in a bucket to make their loved deity feel at home. Showcasing their support to the Bucket Ganesha concept, the trio went on-air talking about their experience of this unique celebration.

Manasare is one of the most awaited movies of Sandalwood that is set to hit screens with the successful combination of the trio along with the chocolate boy Diganth as the lead actor.
