MUMBAI: Radio Misty 94.3 FM, the first and Number One fm station of North Bengal and Sikkim will air special show on Darjeeling Toy Train on 23rd August. The Darjeeling Himalayan Railway which is lovingly called the toy train was opened on this day in 1880.The journey to Darjeeling is regarded as the Most Spectacular in the world. Travellers are awed by both the scenery as well as the railway line which is truly an engineering masterpiece and without doubt one of the wonders of the world. The history of toy rain is equally fascinating. Many Bollywood movies are been shot on this toy train.
Senior Railway official and Renowned singer Tarak Nath Bhattacharya, who has a great admirer of this toy train, will narrate the history of this train with songs .The voice for these songs are given by local singers. The unique show on Radio Misty will bring the journey of toy train in different mood.
