MUMBAI: A musical short film titled “Oru Puthu Niram” is getting viral on YouTube. Even with only 15 minutes in duration, it gives the feeling of a full-fledged film. With the magical voices of Haricharan and Shweta Mohan interspersed throughout the movie, the viewer gets a mesmerizing musical experience composed by Vishnu Prasad.
Gibu George and Santhy Das have played the main roles of Kathir and Meenakshi respectively. The film takes us through an emotional journey of love and hope, portraying snippets of beautiful memories from their life. Reshma Rejukumar, Kshirja Govind, Sreeliji Sreedharan, Pramod Zachariah, Roshni Periyachi and Gauri Amma have also acted in the film.
The movie is striking for its rich cinematography, engaging screenplay and captivating direction, all of which have been handled by Raj Vimal Dev. Appu Bhattathiri has done the editing. The lyrics are written by Arul Prakash (Tamil) and Akhila Sayooj (Malayalam). The story and concept are developed by Raj Vimal Dev and Gibu George. The short film is produced by Reju Kumar under the banner of Orchid Films International and released through Muzik247.
