MUMBAI: Radio Misty 94.3 fm, the first and Number one fm station of North Bengal has partnered with government of west Bengal’s youth services department for Bengali One-Act Play Competition. This competition will be held at Siliguri from 28 july.This competition is held in association with Siliguri Municipal Corporation. Beside this competition a seminar on legendary theatre artist habeeb tanveer will also be organised.
A one-act play is a play that has only one act, as distinct from plays that occur over several acts. One-act plays may consist of one or more scenes.This event will promote talents from remote parts of region. There is cash awards for direction, acting, best artist. Beside this the seminar will discuss different mode of plays and their development.
