MUMBAI: Romania’s stellar UNTOLD festival combines a huge selection of underground artists with world-famous mainstream acts in perfect harmony. After it celebrates its fifth edition this summer, comes the completion of their 2019 line-up with a huge raft of new names across the board, adding to the massive list of already-announced names that features the likes of Martin Garrix, David Guetta, Armin van Buuren, Solomun, Tale of Us and Loco Dice.
The mainstage sees the addition of names including Dutch house legend- Fedde Le Grand, French tropical house genius- Kungs and Swedish chart-topper-Mike Perry. Over on the Galaxy Stage, Spanish sensation- Anna Tur joins other new names like Diynamic’s Ukranian stars Artbat, the mysterious sounds of Venice’s Lehar and Afterlife duo Mathame. The stunning Daydreaming stage adds Israeli progressive master Guy Gerber, rising Canadian star Davian and the masterful Timujin.
The tropical-flavoured Forest Stage grows stronger with Buenos Aires’ beautiful Chancha Via Circuito, reggae legends Inner Circle, the tasty Latin-Carribean sounds of Irie Maffia and Komraus. Over on the trance-focused Fortune Stage, Bulgaria’s Airborn joins hotshot Alessandra Roncone, tech-leaning talent don Alex Di Stefano and all-time scene hero Markus Schulz. The Earth Spirit Stage has a huge number of new additions, as does the Time Stage, where you’ll find house techno flavours from Amsterdam duo Anotr, globetrotting star Scarlett Etienne, rising Spinnin’ Deep artist SKIY, and local talent in the form of Romanian star Nusha and Maestros Del Ritmo.
