A crying, estranged couple, some emotional drama, alcohol and the accompanying sad music form for a typical setup of a breakup song, which we have been listening for ages how! But Tera Ghata singer, Gajendra Verma has brought a different vibe to breakup songs with Yaad Karke.
Shot in the picturesque locations of Turkey, the song shows Verma reminiscing memories of his lover. The music and lyrics, which are also by Gajendra himself, give a feel of a breakup song set in today’s modern times, where falling in and out of love doesn’t take much time!
Speaking about the idea, Gajendra Verma says, “Yaad Karke is a breakup song about today’s relationships and how after breakup people move on so quickly. It also showcases feelings of the deceiver in a relationship.”

Gajendra’s Tera Ghata went on to become a smashing hit. On being asked, what response, he is anticipating for Yaad Karke, Verma exclaims, “I never expect anything out of my songs. I had not even expected Tera Ghata to do so well. My main goal is to just make a song and present it to the audience. You cannot decide, how the song will fare.”
Yaad Karke marks Gajendra Verma’s association with Qyuki. On his association with the popular platform, he says, “It’s great working with Qyuki and to have such a brilliant team by yourside for your song projects. This is my first project with Qyuki and I actually loved working with them.”
Lastly, the singer spills beans on his upcoming projects, “We have shot three more videos last month, whose post production will start soon. I am really excited about those three videos as well. A few of my favourite tracks are coming out this year.”
