MUMBAI: “For me T-Series Mixtape is really valuable because it helps me show my creativity without any interference from anyone, says one of the brains behind the successful music property, T-Series Mixtape , whose Season 2 is currently the talk of the town.
The music producer takes care of the entire musical setup of the show, while his partner and co-creator of T-Series Mixtape Season 1 and 2, Shivam Chanana looks after the administration.
“From the idea of starting the season till the end of the last episode release, I am involved in it. I am editing also,” adds Abhijit.
The popular music producer, who has worked with almost every singer from the Indian music industry, also shares the idea behind Mixtape.
He shares, “Basically Mixtape was all about merging two tracks seamlessly to make it sound like one (one track is known while the other track might be unknown track from another movie). Basically, these tracks are slow burners and mixes do really well and have a long shelf-life. We are only making covers but in a very magnanimous and grand musical way. We are, therefore, making it possible for people to hear songs in different genres. The first season of Mixtape as a property is still doing well after almost two years.”
Abhijit’s love for singing is not foreign as the singer has sung in T-Series Mixtape Season 1 and has crooned for two episodes in Season 2 also.
“I can sing on tracks too because I love to sing on Mixtape and I am going to concentrate on singing as well in the future,” he comments on his love for singing.

Vaghani is also working on other projects apart from T-Series Mixtape Season 2. He reveals, “I am going to soon start releasing my singles and maybe some covers. I am also working with a lot of Punjabi artists like Shipra on singles; I produce a lot for these people. Besides, I am producing music for different projects, i.e. film and independent both.”
Abhijit also tell, why he finds doing singles very interesting.
“There is more freedom in creativity. Also, in videos, you can experiment with different stories rather than have situations like the ones present in movies,” he exclaims.
Well, Abhijit has a point as music goers are crazy about independent singles than film songs and we hope the golden 90’s era of singles stays forever.
