MUMBAI: Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs has made quite a buzz for its exceptional contestants, who have grabbed eyeballs with their fantabulous performances. And in the upcoming episode, Sugandha Date will once again stand out for her emotional performance on Luka Chuppi Bahut Hui.
If reports are to be believed, the upcoming weekend episode, which is dedicated to our real-life heroes, aka our soldiers and martyrs, will see contestants performing on patriotic songs to give an ode to our soldiers.
Sources have revealed that among the various performances, Sugandha Date’s heart-felt performance on Luka Chuppi Bahut Hui from the Bollywood film, Rang De Basanti, left everyone in tears. It is learnt that host of the show, Ravi Dubey was seen almost choking emotionally during the performance. Everyone on the set was in tears after her mesmerising performance.

After her superb performance, Sugandha revealed about her dad being her real-life hero. He was earlier associated with Indian Army postal service. Her father also narrated stories of soldiers and how they would wait for letters from their families. Some stories were very heart-touching.
Other noteworthy performances include Ritik Gupta’s on Chak De India, while Mithila Mali’s mesmerising performance on Ae Mere Watan Ke Logon also stole limelight. The show will also have retired Indian Army officer Ashish and retired Air Force officer Rakhi shared their bravery stories with the audience. While the former shared his on-field stories, the latter shared about her operation, which she was on in spite of being six months pregnant.
