MUMBAI: Vh1 India is finally back with another edition of Sound Nation League, the hottest virtual music league that features India’s biggest tracks competing against each other in a fierce battle to the top! The artists being pit against each other are homegrown musicians who have been making waves in the independent music scene, a genre that has exponentially gained traction in the past few years.
The first round of the heaty competition locks playback powerhouses Shalmali and Sunidhi Chauhan battling against Tamil-Swiss R&B singer Priya Ragu. Shalmali’s track ‘Here is Beautiful’ featuring the illustrious Sunidhi Chauhan won listeners hearts with its picturesque music video and soulful lyrics. The melodic track will face off against Priya Ragu’s record ‘Chicken Lemon Rice’, a quirky and upbeat Tamil – English fusion track that pays homage to her diverse South Indian and European roots.
