MUMBAI: As the year 2018 is coming to an end, everyone’s party plans are in full swing. The checklist for every party is the same- booze, music, and delicious food. While the last two are indispensable, booze is something, though brings short-lived happiness, could be a problem in giving a hangover. Many of the offices function on 1 January 2018 and that’s enough reason for many to not have a hang-over. In such situations, the options for party narrow down. Thinking of all these woes, Ameya Dabli brings forth a heart-to-heart concert on the 31st night with a bang. The headliners for this event would top music composers Salim-Sulaiman and the star singer Jonita Gandhi.
Ameya Dabli, the curator of this show, shares his vision for the concept, “There are so many employees, who have to report to work on the 1st and not everyone has an off. These can’t drink and have limitations to party. Heart to Heart would be a great fit for such. Also, it is for people, who are looking for wholesome entertainment, where they can take their families including children.”
Continuing further, he says, “As far as the music is concerned, we have some of the best talents in India. Salim Sulaiman, who have given hit tracks like Aivayi Aivayi or Mar Jawan and Jonita, who much sought-after singer post The Break-Up song, will be performing choicest of their songs.”

Ameya Dabli is a banker-turned-musician and has conceptualised events like Ekam Satt – One Truth, One Humanity, World Music’, based on the ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam: One World Family’ theme, The mission for Nation: Performed over 19 Army shows with a standing ovation and currently touring the northeast belt covering other border locations followed by a Mega Event in Delhi in presence of senior Army Officers. And Heart to Heart is another IP developed by him.
However, at this event, Ameya is clear about his music choices, “We will play hardcore commercial and dhamaka music. We also have DJ Hiren, who is one of the topmost DJs today. He will take over, once Salim Sulaiman’s gig will be done. And since it is an indoor party, we have no plans to shut before 3 am. The audience can dance their heart out.”
Compared to other gigs, Heart To Heart has no Alcohol and no meat policy. It is the clause that might be the odd one out, but is appreciated by many corporate houses. Ameya shares, “We have received bulk bookings from many corporate houses, as every boss wants his/her employee to be back at work the next day.”
Adding more on no alcohol policy, Ameya says, “A true music lover need not depend on alcohol for fun.”
The entry fee for the event is reasonable compared to high-priced events otherwise. The lowest bar is 1450 onwards. “Lowest bar is bronze, which is at 1400. Bronze will be followed by Gold, VIP, Lounge. While the bronze category might have food limitations on the entry coupon, they can purchase more food at the counter. We have also opened discounted fare till 26th and offering a flat 50% off.”
