MUMBAI: Singer Pragya Dasgupta, who is known for her melodious voice, has recently lent her vocals for an ad film on HP Printers. The song has received quite an appreciation, “We did not expect the song to go viral since we had this perception that people do not have the tenancy to listen to the entire video, which is more than a three minuter,” said Pragya Dasgupta.

Jolly Jose has composed the music while Deepti Nagia has directed and written the ad film, “We have used a few Rajasthani instruments and the song is based on a raag.”
“It was an amazing experience working with them. The best part is that they give you an opportunity to do whatever you want, so I completely did whatever I wanted,” said Dasgupta.
The song has a wonderful message on how a child helps a ‘diya seller’ celebrate her Diwali. The makers of the film therefore deserve a big applause for sellinf their product while conveying a wonderful message.
“Usually, we make ads for 30 seconds maximum to one minute, but this was a little lengthier. We did not expect that this three-minute song will become a hit. Actually, it’s the product that comes right from your heart, it’s all about the content these days,” the singer exclaimed.
Lastly, Pragya also mentioned about her upcoming films. She will be lending her vocals to a Telugu film apart from dropping some fresh original music.
