MUMBAI: Sa Re Ga Ma Pa gets the award for “Best Singing Talent Show” at ITA awards – the entire team celebrates on stage. Judges also comment. Gurus try their best to save their gharaana and say that whoever is eliminated at this stage – it will be shocking since all are equally talented In the duet round, real life couple Shoumen and Pratibha sang “Kaho na pyaar hai” and were teased mercilessly by all the mentors. Pritam and Aadesh even went on stage and showered them with flowers! Pratibha was shy and upset about this and cried Himesh was in a mood to make the show lighter at such a tense time, and after every performance, would sing along with the contestant, or ask Shankar to sing something! So, all the mentors joined in the fun at the beach party! All of the mentors danced on stage to Shoumen’s “samundar mein nahaake aur bhi namkeen ho gayi ho”… and also to Debojit’s “jeene ke hain chaar din”
The guest for the Saturday episode was Emraan Hashmi, who came for the promotion of Raaz 2. Set was made like a haunted old “haveli” replete with old paintings, statues and furniture – spooky atmosphere.
The set lights keep going off mysteriously… Emraan comes with a haunted painting of Aditya which turns upside down, a bloody hand falls on Shoumen while he’s singing, Emraan’s gift of a Barbie doll to Yashita turns into a skeleton, Shankar turns into a snake, a scorpion comes out when Shankar puts his hand in a box of popcorn, Adi sees Emraan shifting between two chairs constantly . All contestants sang songs from horror films. Asma may be evicted but her ghost continues to haunt everyone.
