MUMBAI: Roadtrippers Club, a Mumbai based fast growing road tripping community for enthusiasts, beginners and those who love hitting the roads with good pumping music. To keep their passion alive and get that connectivity road trippers have added a cherry on the cake which happens to be good music while they hit the roads.
They would be launching a single Let’s Keep The Rhythm Alive as a part of their long-term initiative that was triggered by the call to save the iconic Rhythm House curated by Anand Mahindra. “ We wanted to create awareness about the rhythm house project, how can we keep the rhythm alive by creating a track which talks about the everyday rhythm in our lives. That’s how we started thinking and within the group as there are a lot of people who love music, they got in touch with music community. So this music community in collaboration with the road-trippers club got together and made this track. The track talks about various sounds that you hear on a daily basis. While road-tripping, the small things that we notice we have pitched all of it in the track.”
This Rhythm House would also raise awareness and crowd source funds for the Mehli Mehta Music Foundation (MMMF) spearheaded by world renowned music conductor and director Zubin Mehta.

Speaking on this Rhythm House initiative, Deepak Ananth from the Road-trippers Club, stated, “When we got to know about the Rhythm House project, we felt there was a need to do something from one community for another community and showcase how music and road-trips go hand in hand. We firmly believe that the Rhythm must be kept alive and what better way to do that then to not just create a musical ode to the rhythms of life but to also partner with a not for profit organisation like the MMMF which has seen doing some outstanding work in the field of music for over two decades.”
Mehli Mehta Music Foundation (MMMF) is a not-for-profit organization that promotes western classical music through the presentation of high quality concerts and music education for children. The MMMF is dedicated to initiating, assisting and implementing the process of opening its doors of the city of Mumbai to the music of the world. During 2017-2018, they delivered music classes to over 1400 children and their students also performed for HM Queen Mathilde of Belgium when she was on a state visit to India in November 2017.
Commenting on this association, MMMF Founder Trustee Mehroo Jeejebho added, “Keeping the rhythm alive across all strata of society has been an endeavour of the Foundation. We are happy in associating ourselves with the Roadtrippers Club which is equally passionate and concurs with us on the importance of music, especially in the lives of children. We bring music to children in municipal schools through the NGO Aseema and hope for the community support in making an impact through music.”
