MUMBAI: The much loved Tamil music video Mounam Sollumm Varthaigal has crossed 10 million views on YouTube, a rare feat to achieve for an album song. It was released last year on 9 February through the YouTube channel of Muzik247. The video’s screenplay and direction was by award winning filmmaker, Rahul Riji Nair. Sidhartha Pradeep had composed the mellifluous music to the lyrics of Jayakumar N.
With melodious rendition by Amrita Jayakumar and Nithin Raj, the song quickly became everyone’s favourite. The beautiful and subtle romance enacted by Vinitha Koshy and Abhimanyu Ramanandan was another highlight of the video that made everyone take notice. Luke Jose handled the cinematography where as the editing was done by Appu Bhattathiri. Apart from the lyricist, the entire team behind Mounam Sollum Varthaigal were Malayalees. The video was produced by First Print Studios.
