MUMBAI: Radio Misty 94.3 FM, the first FM station of North Bengal and Sikkim choose to get to its listeners with innovative method. True to its motto of local people, local voice, local station local choice radio misty team visited to the remote village of selphu in Darjeeling district. This village is known for its oranges and cheese products.
Amidst the Himalayas with its picturesque landscapes in selphu grounds hundreds of people came all over from the region to greet Radio Misty team. Local kids and students performed cultural programs. Later Radio jock Dorji, Bhavana, Indra, Manisha and khusi performed in the proggrame.people danced on with the folk tunes with radio misty team.
All participants were given I am sweet badge and other gifts to the winners. Misty radio jocks talked about their experiences and new innovations. People in this region later joined the misty team to dance of tunes of radio misty station jingle. The way to selphu had some of the best breath traveling Himalayan views which included tall pine trees and lush green tea gardens. People lined up to get photographed with Misty team.

We really are lucky to get such a warm reception by people of selphu.We will visit to more remote areas to make people feel that we are station for them.
